Metabolic Cooking has a clear message right from the very moment you open the book. The writers clearly feel that many diets out there are making staying on a diet way too hard. The recipes are often too difficult to stick to, they are complicated and require a long cooking time. In comes Metabolic Cooking to completely change this!
The Metabolic Cooking recipe book contains 250 and has a simple mission. It wants to make dietary cooking fast, simple, and easy to stick to. To achieve this it follows three easy steps. Firstly, it informs you of the nutri-profile. The cookbook tells you exactly what foods are safe to eat, and which aren’t. Secondly, the book sets out to prevent metabolic slowdowns by giving you varied food groups. By introducing new ingredients to your diet, your metabolism will stay higher. Lastly, Metabolic Cooking uses only ingredients that speed up your metabolism, meaning that eating from these recipes will double your efforts right away!

Cooking From the Metabolic Cooking Book:
Upon cooking some of the meals provided in the Metabolic Cooking book you will notice right away the variety of recipes and ingredients. This is really what sets this diet apart from many other diets available. Every dish comes with high resolution beautiful images of the food about to be cooked and every recipe comes with a calorie counter and an overview of fat and protein contents. Every recipe has a nutritional system built in so you can easily see what a recipe is good for.
The recipes themselves are not too difficult. All recipes are bundled in 9 different categories ranging from smoothies to red meat dishes. The recipes in Metabolic Cooking provide step by step instructions and our results were delicious.
What Could Be Better:
Metabolic Cooking, like many other diet cookbooks only comes in a digital format. This is not really a problem, as the recipes are simple and easy to follow but it is a shame for those who love to have a hard copy book on their shelves. Another something to note is that while we trust the metabolic diet completely, it is sometimes now explained why a recipe is good for you. A lot of diets stay away from some of the ingredients used in the recipes, so it would be nice to get a little more information about why this is okay in this diet. (We know these ingredients are supposed to speed up the metabolism, but some sources on this would be appreciated)
However, all in all, this cookbook seems the real deal. I have made many delicious metabolic meals and could definitely feel the difference in myself!
Metabolic Cooking is a real good recipe book for a very decent diet. The authors have addressed some real concerns and issues a lot of other diet books have and the result is a book with 250 delicious recipes that are not only easy to cook, but also create a diet easy to stick to. The diet doesn’t necessarily get you to eat less, but it’s designed to speed up your metabolism, meaning your body will work 100% with you.
All in all I am really impressed with this cookbook and can recommend everyone to take a look!
